Various podfic/fanfic recs

I have a handful of lil recs to make (this is basically just becoming a place for me to rec and rec and rec, I know :'))

Podfics:

• Merlin (Merlin/Arthur): The Trouble with Courting (PG-13), read by calliglad   [so funny and wonderful--I've listened to it twice now because her voice for Arthur is just so brilliant]
• Suits (Harvey/Mike): Good Boy (NC-17), read by dodificus  [Guh--I loved the fic because of reasons *fans self* annnnd, didn't think it could get any hotter until I listened to this welp]

Fanfic:

Skyfall (Bond/Q):

• Just There (NC-17), by villain  [the first hurt/comfort fic I've where it zeroes in a bit more on the comforting aspect--quite lovely] 
• Slow Hands Killer (R), by paxlux  [so well written. From all the 00Q fics I've read (and okay, this might be because I've been leaning heavily towards all the Q!whump) there seems to be a certain style of writing in a lot of them, which is almost minimal? But also quite breathtaking and captivating. It's interesting, and I wonder whether authors in the fandom have sort of just picked it up from each other when writing this pairing/this genre. ANYWAY, the point is is that I thoroughly enjoyed this.]
• ...Would Smell As Sweet (NC-17), by im_not_a_lizard  [*cheers for fanfic trope* Q makes sex pollen, and the rest is history. Perf ending is perf.]

Merlin (Merlin/Arthur):

• Radioman (G), by Footloose  [okay, so I finally jumped on the Loaded March bandwagon. I couldn't help it, even though I'm usually terrible at reading longfic. Sometimes I can barely make it through longer oneshots, but I couldn't stop reading 'Radioman' which is the first part of this WIP series (which I guess you all already know about). It's about 600k atm, I think? Anyway, I'm going to stagger it because there's no way I can read more than 30k at a time :O I do really love it so far though--it's written excellently, and Arthur's been a perfect dick, whilst Merlin's been adorably bumbling while at the same time being a BAMF genius, so pretty much the best set up for a Merthur fic. Plus, there's the fact that it's a military AU with magic. It's really quite brilliant.]

LOL. Do you write for CD? I do sometimes.

I feel like you can tell when I had to stop and go back on this one, but overall, I feel the quality of my reading is better this go 'round.

I just think it's really hard to make it so you can't tell when you've gone over stuff, but tbh I don't think it matters. In one podfic I listened to, I could hear her papers shuffling but I still really loved it :')

Let me know when it's posted! Are you gonna make a version people can stream?

Yeah, we all know that podfics are edited and if the sound changes from one sentence to the next, oh well, none of us are professionals.

I will post here and LJ and on AO3 when it's posted and I will definitely stream it on soundcloud again.

Dancing was fun! Wish the girls had been able to just come home and get in bed, but oh well.

It's 10 am and I've still not had breakfast. I think I'll go eat:)
